Quick update on thangs:
- Win This Listing is having another screening coming up at the La Jolla Arc Light theatre! Check out WinThisListing.Com to RSVP tickets.
- Been taking up freelance again. Feels good! Doing everything from business photography to family portraits to sports events coverage. Really starting to see a trend of sports-related video as more and more of my niche which is awesome.
Left, photo of Jackson Hale at 360 Wellness in Carlsbad. Awesome sports medicine, massage therapist.
Lots going on at Win This Listing - we're on our 5 & 6 episodes and they're looking pretty sharp.
Below is the Facebook cover photo I Photoshopped for the upcoming episodes. It's a mix of After Effects and Photoshop (although it could have totally been done all thru Photoshop).
Win This Listing is a local reality show where 3 real estate agents compete to win a listing in the San Diego home market. We cast REAL local homeowners and local agents and it's a pretty interesting mash up each time.

So much has happened since my last post regarding Born & Brewed: Oceanside! I've left KOCT (yuuuuup); taken on a full time job at Smarter San Diego, a part time gig editing for NBC7 (San Diego news!) anddddd... opened up shop with a photo website selling prints (ZABAphotographics.com) - also available on the Etsy account!
I'm also editing a short doc I shot a few weeks ago for Operation Amped, a non-profit that teaches wounded veterans how to surf. Saw some of the organizers at today's ISA Adaptive surfing competition down in La Jolla this morning. Great people!
I'm certainly busy but absolutely loving it and am SO grateful to have shed old skin and start a new chapter in life.
I was aided by host and co-writer, Marie-Claire Lemon (oncamerahost.com), a multi-talented emcee!
I got to interview the real movers and shakers of Oceanside craft beer including Stone Brewing Company, Bagby Beer Company and Legacy Brewing Company.
My personal twist on the whole video was the interview with the locals who shared their growth with the city of Oceanside and how much it's changed from a military/surf town into it's own!
I'm still combing through the photos and videos I took from Super Girl Pro. You can see all of them on my Instagram: @awong_filmmaker!
Been fussing around with various photo editing programs.
The first photos are of Sage Erikson getting, literally, vertical at the Pier. Insane.
Last two are of Chelsea Tuach (I believe she's French). She just won the US Open at Huntington Beach!
Just kidding. I don't have a staff writer. Yet.
