Last 3 years have been tough. This current one... is brutal.
So many attempts. So many changes. So many firsts. And still feeling like I'm on the bottom rung.
So I sat my sorry ass down and watched the short documentary I made back in college. And everyone loves their own film but... Heather "the Heat" Hardy - female boxer and single mom knocks everyone out of the water. (Watery pun intended.)
It's funny because I remember watching it with everyone including Heather and Devon (her kick ass trainer) at the Senior Thesis screening back in 2012 and I remember thinking, "this is LOOOOOOONG... This is taking FOREEEEVVERRRRRRR..."
But now, it felt so short. haha... perspective... Anyways, it was a nice pick me up. I had forgotten how... free I used to be with the camera! Now it's all about getting the perfect exposure and perfect audio and perfect whatever else. Everyone that I worked with at that time was so truthful, sincere.
